Vic has blended counseling and ministry throughout his adult life. He has an undergrad degree in Ministry and Biblical Studies from Abilene Christian University and a Master’s Degree in counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He has served as a counselor in a variety of settings, including churches, colleges and in private practice. He and his wife, Kay, owned and operated Life Resources, a Wisconsin state certified mental health clinic, with multiple therapists and three locations, for ten years. Marriage and Men’s emotions have been his primary counseling focus. Ministry has taken him into church planting, multi-site development, lead pastor, and missions. Vic has been married to Kay for over 51 years. They have 3 daughters, 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. They currently reside in Wimberley, Texas where Vic has a private counseling practice and serves as a contract therapist for Hope Restored, an intensive marriage therapy ministry of Focus on the Family.
